Privacy policy for Grow Wrong: Wobbly Escape, package com.hitbones.growwrong. Updated 9 October 2026. Applies to the testing version and the services described below.
Who runs the game
Hitbones operates Grow Wrong. Contact hitbones@gmail.com for privacy or support requests. This game is intended for teens aged 13 and older and adults.
Play and progress
Your progress, earned coins, cosmetic choices, language and privacy settings are saved on your device. The solo journey works without an online account. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes local progress.
Optional analytics and crash reports
Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics are disabled by default. Players who choose the 18-or-older age group may opt in. If allowed, they process gameplay events, screens, room outcomes, mutation selections, language, app version, device/OS information, an app-instance or installation identifier, and crash or diagnostic information. Network services also receive connection information such as IP addresses, which may be used to derive approximate location such as a city or country. The game does not request GPS or precise-location permission. We use this information to find failures, improve difficulty and understand how the game is used. We do not send names, email addresses or advertising IDs in these game events.
You can choose Essential only in Settings → Privacy choices to stop optional collection and reset the local Analytics identifier. This stops future collection; a request may still be needed to remove previously processed data. Optional analytics is unavailable for the under-13 and 13–17 age groups in this version.
Optional online rankings
Rankings use Unity Authentication, Cloud Code and Leaderboards. Connection is a separate choice, available for ages 13 and up. Unity creates an anonymous player ID and receives connection information such as your IP address. When you submit a daily run, steering inputs and mutation choices are sent to check that the score follows the game rules. The leaderboard stores the verified score, daily date, completed-room count, rules version and player identifier. Other players see a generated NUB name, rank and score. The game has no public chat or custom player names.
Disconnect online rankings in Settings to stop connecting. Disconnecting does not delete a previously submitted score. Anonymous access is tied to this installation; reinstalling can lose access to that identity. Any service-restriction notice received from Unity is shown in the game with a copy option.
Advertising and purchases
This testing version does not serve advertisements, activate advertising tracking or sell in-app purchases. Ad service activation is reserved for a later approved release. We will update the game, choices and disclosures before enabling it.
Data handling and your rights
Data is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Firebase/Google and Unity process the service data described above and may process it outside your country. Data is kept as needed to provide the service, troubleshoot issues, respond to requests or comply with applicable requirements. We do not sell personal data. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing, or withdraw optional consent.

Request data or deletion
Email hitbones@gmail.com with the subject “Grow Wrong Data Deletion”. Include the Player ID shown in Settings if you used online rankings. State whether you want online ranking/account data, optional diagnostics data, or both removed. If available, include your game version and approximate play dates. Do not send a password. We may ask for information needed to confirm ownership and locate the records, then respond to the request under applicable law. Deleting the optional online account includes its Unity identity and the identifiable leaderboard records we control. Firebase documents a 90-day retention period for crash traces and associated identifiers before removal from its live and backup systems begins. If a legal or security requirement prevents full deletion, we will explain the affected records and applicable retention period. For local data, use your device’s Clear data or uninstall controls. Turn off optional collection before removing the app if you wish to withdraw consent.
Children and changes
The game is not directed to children under 13. If that age group is chosen, online rankings and optional analytics are disabled. Contact us if you believe a child’s information was collected. Material changes will be reflected here and in the relevant in-game choices.
